I went through the whole day without a single human interaction that mentioned the significance of the date. I decided to do a small pilgrimage to the site once referred to a Ground Zero where the mighty steel behemoths commonly called the Twin Towers once stood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This video is not so much about the day of 9\/11 but the years and then decades after it the affected this city, our society, and our world so deeply. This is by no means some sort of comprehensive history of 9\/11 or the terror wars that followed. It&#8217;s not even comprehensive of my own experience because much of my photo archive is sitting in a storage locker.
