New York- <\/strong> My work in Mali had a couple of notable citations I was hitherto unaware of that I wanted to briefly mention here. Firstly I was cited in the paper From Disfunctionality to Disaggregation and Back?
The Malian Crisis, Local Players and European Interests <\/a>by my former Jamestown Foundation colleagues Dario Cristiani<\/a> and Riccardo Fabiani<\/a>. It was published in Rome by the venerable Istituto Affari Internazionali<\/a>, an Italian think tank with a pro-EU, global outlook. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondly and far more recently my high-risk field research was cited in Desert Drift, Declining Deadliness: Understanding the Evolution of AQIM\u2019s Suicide Bombings<\/a> authored by Jason Warner,
Ellen Chapin, and Caleb Weiss. This paper was published by the United States Military Academy at West Point here in New York. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
