New York-<\/strong> I have a new episode out today on my Fabled City channel on the au currant topic of how many tourists are too many on the legendary volcanic Cycladic island. As a lot of news outlets were covering this story over the summer, I rented an ATV and headed up toward the swarms of visitors in the once quiet village of Oia to see what had changed since I was last there nearly a decade ago. Never being one for crowds, on my annual trips to the island I ordinarily avoid Oia. But I decided the revisit it with a mildly critical eye this time around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
