The street musicians of Lviv. Music is resistance.

Thera- One evenig two summers ago I found myself in front of the Lviv National Opera House just awestruck by this local trio performing in the middle of Prospekt Svobody. I was struck by the precision and intensity of their performance. In a country at war, their sound cut sharply through the noise and captivated the street upon which they stood. I don’t know their names or what this song is. In these few minutes it didn’t seem to matter. Above west or east there rises the sound of the human spirit.
